After doing De Crítico, artista y loco in 1995 we had wanted to make a project with cultural reporters. In July 1999 we had the chance to do it. 

In complicity with Jorge Berdeja (el Universal), we invited Adriana Moncada (Unomásuno), Angelica Abelleyra (La Jornada), Hector Flores (Radio Educación, Octavio García (IMER), Jacqueline Ramos (Excelsior), Blanca Villeda (El Heraldo de México) and Héctor León (La Crónica de Hoy) to participate in a press conference where they would be questioned by the audience, integrated mostly by artists. Although Myriam Audiffred also accepted, although in the last moment Reforma didn’t allow her to participate. The panel’s moderator was Dulce María de Alvarado.

The session was fun and also harsh. There were a lot of recriminations and the lack of understanding artist’s have of the work of the reporters was evident. This project took place at the Museum of Modern Art.
