VICTOR LERMA
Víctor Lerma was born in Tijuana, Baja California in 1949. He studied Visual Arts at the ENAP. He has had more than 20 solo shows, including places such as the Museo Universitario del Chopo and la National Gallery en Kingston, Jamaica, etc. and has particpated in more than sixty group shows in Mexico, the US, Europe and Latin America, including spaces such as the Museum of Fine Arts, The Museum of Modern Art and the Carrillo Gil Museum in Mexico. He is a founding member of Pinto mi Raya. In 1993 he obtained a grant from Proyectos y Co-inversiones of thel Fondo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes in order to fund the project Electrografía Monumental en Papel de Algodón (Digital art on Cotton Paper) y en 1998 la del Fideicomiso para la Cultura México EU gave him a grant to fund the virtual magazine La Pala.
