We have always thought its strange how some colleagues celebrate birthdays o professional anniversaries by exhibiting, so we decided to celebrate our tenth wedding anniversary with a show and a performance. On November 17, 1990 we opened our space with the exhibition A 10 años de  casados in which we presented recent drawings by both of us which dealt with water.

Foto falsa a diez años de la boda, the performance, took place at the Centro Cultural Santo Domingo on November 10. Since we have no pictures of our original wedding because even though many of our friends who attended the ceremony were photographers,  the one in charge of documenting messed up, a decade later we decided to mend this annoying situation through a performance.

In this piece Carlos-Blas Galindo was the judge, Perla Schwarts the book godmother and Maris Bustamante the lady of the rings. Other artist who participated in the ceremony were César Martinez, Esperanza Balderas, Patricia Torres, Carlos Jaurena y Ricardo Anguía, Adolfo Patiño y Laura Anderson. We Have pictures, slides and video of this wedding at which our kids were present.
