This Pinto mi Raya project opened at the reading room of the Sala de Arte Público Siqueiros on July 16, 2002 and consisted on three artist's books.
THREE VOICES included 192 images printed on acetate in which Monica Mayer and Victor Lerma altered and intervened visually or through text, different writings by Siqueiros. This project was presented in two versions: as a book and as an installation.
ARTE PÚBLICO EN EL ARCHIVO DE PINTO MI RAYA (PUBLIC ART IN THE PINTO MI RAYA ARCHIVE) was a selection of the main texts included in the Pinto mi Raya archive on contemporary art. The edition consisted of 25 signed and numbered books and are considered an applied conceptual art piece.
SIQUEIROS EN EL ARCHIVO DE PINTO MI RAYA (SIQUEIROS IN THE PINTO MI RAYA ARCHIVE) was a selection of the main texts included in the Pinto mi Raya on David Alfaro Siqueiros. It was also an edition of 25 signed and numbered books. These two research projects are part of a larger project called Ediciones al Vapor whose main objective is to provide a tool for researchers.SIQUEIROS: THREE VOICES was presented at the reading room of SAPS between July 16 and 20, as part of the Primer Coloquio de Arte Público PÚBLICO©.
